   Gibson Flying V Guitars

 

The Gibson Flying V was a solid body electric that first appeared in the 1958 and featured a wildly different modern look to them.  deisgn. however it was not a popular design.  While initially unpopular they were re-launched in the mid 60's and became quite popular.
